The American heavy metal band Slayer embarked on their first national tour in 1984, following the release of their debut three song EP.
Records available online are unclear, but the band played between one and three shows in Houston. Following one of the shows, the band visited the KPFT studio and took over the mic for an uncensored call in segment during The Random Sampler.
