Welcome

On September 24, 2022 KPFT returned to live broadcasting.

Although the studio remains under construction, as of September it is able to support operations during daytime/business hours with plans to expand to 24 hour live scheduling ASAP. Syndicated and some local programming will continue to be taped in advance, but expect to hear more and more in-studio voices as time goes on.

Coinciding with live broadcasting is a new schedule on both HD1 and HD2 that continues KPFT's legacy of political talk, community affairs, news, commentary, and music found nowhere else on the Houston radio dial.
