Welcome
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, KPFT has been operating without a studio and the 134 unique programs on the schedule have been produced in 134 unique studios, many of them in the homes of programmers. Despite the technical and logistical challenges, these tireless volunteers have persevered to deliver the programming listeners have come to know and love.
The imminent return to live broadcasting from the new studio will continue KPFT's legacy of political talk, community affairs, news, commentary, and music found nowhere else on the Houston radio dial.
This page is a snapshot of the programming on the air prior to the return to live broadcasting on September 24, 2022. Many of these programs are still on the new live schedule, but some have left the airwaves and others are coming on board.
An updated version of this page will be posted soon with all the new additions.
When you find something you like, check out the last two week of archived shows at https://archive.kpft.org then listen live at 90.1 FM on the radio, or streaming from http://www.kpft.org, the TuneIn App (Apple or Android), and the Pacifica App (Apple or Android).
